Cedar Box

Mighty Oaks developed Cedar Box originally as a platform to streamline the land use referral and consultation process.  It was quickly determined that beyond managing the workflow of reviewing a land use application what was critical is having a single point of truth for archeological and environment data that can inform the review process.   To that end we added Heritage and Environment modules that supported capturing and geo-spatial indexing of data that could quickly be used to review a land use application.

Using our advance geospatial and document indexing and search features community leaders can quickly determine the impact a potential land use applications would have on the community and drive the appropriate consultation process.

Cedar Box In the Classroom

We have several communities that once building up the archeological data with Cedar Box started to look at how to leverage the data beyond the land stewardship office.   Using our advanced security capability it is possible to identify information that can be taken into the class room and used to support education of the next generation.

Land Management

We have added capabilities to support land management beyond the consultation process.  With the full capability to manage allocation of land and buildings both within the community and management of leases to others, Cedar Box allows communities to manage residential and industrial/commercial land allocation both to band members and those the community.  This includes the ability to manage leases.
